HISTORY OF THE CHRISTIAN CHURCH IN
KUWAIT
The Christian Church in Kuwait is an independent , non denominational , non – sectarian, FULL
GOSPEL , Church , anchored on the WORD OF GOD.
CCK IS A PILLAR AND SUPPORT OF THE TRUTH – 1 TIM 3:15 The Christian
Church in Kuwait is one of the nine ( 9) local filipino Church in Kuwait. Situated first at trhe Kaibigan Restaurant and
after a few months of gathering together , the Pastor and the Elders of this Church had to give way to the celebration of
the Ramadan , the Holy month of the Muslims , in which the congregation has to be transferred to the Carlton Hotel Ballroom
for almost seven (7) months of praise and worship at the said hotel. The CCK has to go back to the Kaibigan Restaurant for
some reason to consider. While there are changes have taken place , one very important factor has remained constant , the
CCK FAMILY, be it a Pastor, an Deacon , worker or a member , has remained warm, simple , humble loving and compassionate.

OUR CHURCH COVENANT
Having been led , as we believe by the Spirit of God , to receive the Lord Jesus Christ
as our Savior and, on the profession of our faith, having been baptized in the name of the Father,and of the Son, and
of the Holy Spirit , we do now in the Presence of God and this assembly, most solemnly and joyfully enter into covenant with
one another as one body in the Christ. We engage, therefore, by the aid of the Holy Spirit to walk together in Christian love. To
strive for the advancement of the church in knowledge, holiness, and comfort ; to promote its prosperity and spirituality;
to sustain its worship, ordnance, discipline and doctrines. To contribute cheerfully and regularly to the support of the ministry,
the expences of the church , the relief of th poor, and the spread of the Gospel through all nations. We also engage to maintain
family and secret devotions ; to religiously educate our children; to seek the salvation of our kindred and acquaintances.
To walk circumspectly in the world; to be just in our dealings, faithfull in our engagments, and exemplacy in our deporment;
to avoid all tattling , backbiting, and excessive anger ; to abstain from the sale of , And use of, intoxicating drinks as
beverage; to be zealous in our efforts to advance the kingdom of our Savior. We further engage to watch over one anotherr
in brotherly love, to remember one another in prayer; to aid one another in sickness and distress; to cultivate Christian
sympathy in feeling and Christian courtesy in speech; to be slow to take offence, but always ready for reconcilliation and
mindful of the rules of our Saviour to secure it without delay. We moreover engage that when we remove from this place we
will, as soon as possible, unite with some other church where we can carry out the spirit of this covenant and the priciples
of God’s Word.
